Regional FootGolf Clubs (Affiliate Members) Regional FootGolf Clubs serve as the foundational organisational units and primary engines of grassroots development within FGSA’s decentralised membership framework. Aligned strictly with South Africa’s 52 official districts and metropolitan municipalities, these clubs are responsible for promoting participation, managing local leagues, and identifying talent in line with national pathways.
Annual affiliation is R5,000.00 per annum. Please note that payment is the first step of the application and does not constitute immediate confirmation. Aspirant regions must navigate a high-compliance accreditation process through the FGSA Learning Management System (LMS), which includes:
-
Mandatory Governance Examination: All nominated office bearers (President, Secretary, and Treasurer) must successfully complete a formal examination to demonstrate system literacy and governance competence.
-
Pre-Election Vetting: A formal review of eligibility by the PEC (or NEC in the absence of a Provincial Association).
-
Independent Forensic Due-Diligence: Background screening conducted by JGL Forensic Services to ensure financial integrity and suitability for trust.
Official recognition, provincial representation, and access to FGSA resources are granted only upon the successful completion of these governance requirements and the issuance of a formal Confirmation of Eligibility.
